Islington Fixers Repair Party

Come  to Islington Fixer's fifth Repair Party, where volunteers fixers will  help you fix your broken electricals and electronics to save them from waste. Find us in the ROOF GARDEN ROOM.

Want an item fixed? Feel free to drop in - or book a slot here. 

IMPORTANT: We  can't guarantee how long the fix will take as it depends on the  problem, which means that, even if you have booked a timed slot, there  may be a wait.

The focus of the event will be skill-sharing, where participants with broken items take an active role in their repair.

** WHAT THE ISLINGTON FIXERS CAN'T FIX **

Please do check as we don't want you to lug these items to the workshop.

• Large battery packs e-bikes, scooters, hoverboards, etc. There's a risk of fire
• Mains pressure washers. We don't have to space where they can be tested - (ie: outdoors with a hose pipe, etc)
• Microwaves. They're extremely high voltage with potentially carcinogenic insulation
• Anything that may contain asbestos as an insulated material. It’s rare, but has happened. (Think 1930/40/50’s kettles etc.)
