Join Islington Clean Air Parents for an Air Quality people’s assembly where we will exploring how to build a clean air strategy for Islington that will meet the World Health Organisations air quality targets.

Air pollution is the number one environmental threat to human life. There is no safe level of air pollution, which causes an estimated 81 deaths in Islington as well as a myriad of other health conditions including heart disease, cancer, miscarriages, strokes, lung cancer and dementia.
Air pollution is seriously damaging the health of our children, impairing learning, reducing lung size and is proven to cause heart palpitations in healthy teenagers.
Tonight, a panel of expert will outline the main causes of air pollution and the effects on residents health. Join the group discussions to explore and discuss the most effective measures to meet WHO air quality targets in Islington and protect the health and well-being of residents in Islington.
