During this hand sewing class you will learn:

 How to use embroidery threads.

 Three stitches to get you started on creating your own designs

 Materials for applying a design to fabric

 How to use patches to repair 

 How to finish your work for a neat result and wearability.

By the end of this class you will have the foundation skills you need to start mending

your favourite items.

Information:

All materials will be provided to be able to work on samples fabrics.

Please bring an item along for mending advice or to practice on. 

Beginners welcome.

*Please note this is not a Visible Darning class. I will not be covering darning techniques for knitwear in this workshop

*For beginners, please avoid bringing highly stretchy items ( ie lycra sportwear) or delicate fabrics at this stage.
